Now, the Naples Philharmonic infuse the movie with even more life with a spectacular performance of the music live with the film on the big screen.
An American In Paris is a 1951 film inspired by and set to the music of George Gershwin. The film stars Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron and is a love story that sees an American ex-GI venture into a career in painting while living in Paris. He ends up falling in love. Upon its release the film did exceptionally well and went on to receive seven prestigious awards while being nominated for more.
